My ideal weekend is spent with a cup of coffee and a good book. (1)

This past weekend, MetroPlaces’ Waterleaf residents were able to enjoy their favorite annual Halloween event!

With two costume contests (for both children of all ages and for adults), music, drinks and delicious food, there were plenty of fun activities prepared.

The Halloween extravaganza took place alongside the community pool which allowed our time-crunched residents to join in the fun and relax while enjoying family time.

MetroPlaces hosted this event as a way of thanking the wonderful Waterleaf residents who make our community one of the best places to live in!

Battle of The Blocks

The “Battle of the Blocks” event is a yearly favorite, bringing all families in each block together to compete for a winning title. Neighborhood blocks go head-to-head in a series of family-friendly games, races and fun.

Residents are not playing around! They get themselves prepared for this event with matching shirts for their block and all!

Oktoberfest

A tradition that started in the 1800’s in Munich Germany has helped form Union Park’s community event culture for three years in a row. Oktoberfest brings hot air balloon rides, ice cream trucks, delicious foods and plenty of good beer.

Even our youngest residents can enjoy the fun––inflatable slides, bounce houses, face painting and splash pad fun are all abundant. This community favorite truly brings the spirit of the fall season to Union Park.

Halloween Block Party

The Union Park Halloween Block Party is another favorite for our little ones. Trick-or-treating, costume contests and candy galore are amongst the many activities.

The Halloween extravaganza takes place alongside the community pool which allows our residents to join in the fun and relax while enjoying family time. The buffet of ghostly foods and bloody drinks as well as homemade goods is always a hit! We love seeing our residents taking a day off from cooking to enjoy quality time with loved ones.
